Greenwood Springs Plantation is located in Loxley, AL, adjacent to I-10 in Baldwin County, Alabama. During the winter, we provide guided day, overnight, and weekend hunts. In the summer months, we open our property for recreational uses such as horseback-riding, ATV-riding, and bass, bream, and crappie fishing in our pond.

History

Days before the American Civil War ended, Union troops previously stationed in Pensacola camped on and near the area of Greenwood Springs Plantation. Though there is little documentation of the camp, there is undeniable evidence; creek crossing bridges, wagon wheels, other civil war relics found during the excavation of a nearby pond make this area a truly unique and historic area. Today, as an Alabama Treasure Forest, Greenwood Springs Plantation is managed for many species of fish and wildlife.
